Are you a floral designer or a florist?

We get this question a lot! We are floral designers. We do not have a physical storefront and we do not accept last-minute or over-the-phone orders. We create specific arrangements to fit the style and needs of each our clients. While we have a variety of flowers and greenery available for our use, we hand-select and individually harvest the flowers we use in our clients’ designs as opposed to keeping them in coolers for use later.

A floral designer sounds expensive. Are you expensive?

We’re not any more expensive than a typical florist and, in a lot of cases, we tend to be less. Because our studio is home based and we do not have the monetary costs associated with the upkeep  of a physical storefront our overhead is less.

How much do you charge?

As frustrating as it is, there is no straight answer for this question. Price largely depends on the type of flowers you want used in your designs, the quantity of flowers and the season. If you’re getting married in October and want peonies in your bouquet that will be more expensive than using a flower of a similar style that is in season.

Do you charge for delivery?

No, we do not charge for delivery. We do have a service fee which covers the cost of packing your flowers, arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres in a way that ensures the careful transport of your flowers. Sometimes this requires us putting things on ice, in coolers and/or transporting them in 5 gallon buckets of water. When we pack your flowers and arrangements we also include a few extra flowers in case anything does happen to any of the designs we can repair them without worry upon arrival.

Do you require a minimum dollar amount order?

Yes, we do. We understand that wedding costs can add up quickly and that’s why we  keep our minimum order at $300. That being said we are very good at stretching your flowers dollars and offering up creative and beautiful alternatives that achieve the flower style of your mind’s eye or Pinterest board! If you book our Day of Coordination or Wedding Planning services in conjunction with our floral design services than there is no minimum.

I have no idea where to begin with my flowers for my wedding, will you help with that?

Absolutely! There is nothing we love better than figuring out who you are as a couple, what your style is and what your likes and dislikes are. We’re also very conscientious of your budget and always try to give you the most for your money. We do this through a series of inspiration boards that we create and, based upon your feedback, that is how we  create floral designs that are truly one-of-a-kind and just your style!

Can I provide my own vases or containers for my arrangements or do I have to purchase them through you?

We encourage couples to provide their own vases or containers! It will save you money and let’s your personality shine through!
