maine wedding planner

Congrats, you’re engaged! As soon as the question was popped you knew you wanted your wedding to be a laid-back and fun affair with a vacation-like feel and you immediately thought of holding it in Maine (after all its’ nickname is Vacationland!). As soon as you announced your engagement your family and friends started asking you about your plans, hotel blocks, how to get to Maine, etc. so-on and so-forth. And then you started feeling

  • Overwhelmed at all of the possibilities for wedding styles (coastal Maine style, L.L. Bean style, Acadia National Park style? Ahh!)

  • Not sure where to begin your vendor search

  • Unsure of the questions you should be asking potential vendors

  • Wondering how all of the ideas you’ve saved from Pinterest and wedding magazines will come together to create the wedding day of your mind’s eye with that laid-back feel (will people really want to eat lobster? can we afford lobster?)

  • Uncertain of how all of the details will come together on your wedding day, let alone how everyone is getting to Maine.

If you answered yes or nodded your head in agreement to any of the above statements than you’re probably in need of a Maine wedding planner or day of coordinator and you’ve come to the right place!

Wedding Planner vs. Day of Coordinator:
What’s the difference?

A Wedding Planner is someone you’ll need if you’re recently engaged and want help with all of the elements and details associated with planning your wedding. They will work with you on every aspect of your wedding plans – from budget creation, vendor recommendations and selections, and the style of your wedding, to creating floor plans, handling RSVPs and coordinating your wedding day.

A Day of Coordinator is someone you’ll need if you’ve already planned out the elements and details of your wedding day but don’t want the stress of figuring out how those details will come together on the day. A coordinator usually works with you 1-2 months before your wedding day. They will meet with you to learn about all of the plans and details of your wedding day, contact your vendors to create your wedding day timeline and own the flow of your wedding day to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Maine wedding planner

Well, it’s simple really:

  • We know that creating or coordinating a wedding that is a fun, laid-back, stress-free celebration, and a reflection of you and your fiancé, means being extremely organized, communicative, and creative.

  • With over 10 years of event management experience (from inaugural balls to intimate anniversary parties) under our belt, we have a lot of know-how of the way weddings and events should, and shouldn’t, flow, which make for fun, laid-back, and stress-free celebrations!

  • When you hire Lindsay Jayne you work with just Elizabeth and Raechel. We don’t hire out your wedding day to assistant planners. You wouldn’t marry a stranger so why would we let a stranger be in charge on one of the most important days of your life?

  • We don’t double book weddings. As much as we like to multi-task your wedding day is all about you and your fiancé and that’s where our focus is; creating and coordinating a fun, laid-back, stress-free, and memorable event for you.

  • We are prepared and always have a Plan B (this comes from the 9 years we were Girl Scouts)! Just because it’s raining outside doesn’t mean it has to rain on your parade, or wedding day as it may be.

  • We know there is no one “right way” to plan a Maine wedding; there are only stressful and non-stressful ways and we don’t like being stressed (and we’re guessing neither do you if you’re reading this) and that’s why we eliminate it for our couples.

How Can We Help You?
